Simplified Concept

Massing Model

The  following  is  massing  shape  of  my Rehabilitation  Center.

I am working on the specific details to probably reshape the
 ramps to differentiate them from the rest of the spaces.Right now the floor heights and the ramp enclosure are the same heights which might make it look monotonous.

Complement Functional Ideas

In order to respond to the existance of the ramp and to complement its function I've researching vertical gardens and waterfall systems that might take place along the side of the ramps.
Primaraly the ramps are useful in a rehabilitation center since they smooth out the transition from one place to another at  a calm pace.However I want to introduce a complemetary purpose to make the journey " meditative" as I first intended.

Introducing greenery into the space creates a "fitting on the site" effect because of the park and the nature scenery in front of the site.

Project Site/Analysis

I chose the Brooklyn Site for my project because It suits the purpose of a rehabilitation clinic. The site can surely compliment the elements of the project.

The area is calm and has great views; it is soothing, relaxing and creates a sense of comfort. On top of that, it is accessible, just a few minutes from Manhattan. During sunset the site faces a great view and gets enough sunlight. Overall, It  is a good spot to house a Clinic where the peaceful environment and natural light are dominant.
